The OMIX HD™ Imager
provides the high throughput imaging solution needed in high volume ArrayPlate laboratories. The imager is built around a super-cooled CCD detection chip which provides the highest quality chemiluminescence data possible for the ArrayPlate Platform.
The imager is top-loading and is amenable to automation. It’s fast, less than 1 minute, scanning time ensures that it will not become a bottleneck in an automation-heavy work process. The OMIX HD Imager can also be fitted with a plate loader for ultra high throughput applications.
The raw data produced by the OMIX HD Imager is in 16-bit TIFF format. Software for extracting and analyzing the data is provided with the imager. Graphs, tabular data, and archival images are available within minutes of the scan. The data is also compatible with many bioinformatics packages.
The OMIX HD Imager improves upon our original Omix imager by incorporating a more powerful optics package that allows a 2-fold increase sensitivty. The improvements allow the OMIX HD Imager to measure single-copies of genes in as few as 1,000 cells per well.
Additionally, the cooling system has been upgraded to make the instrument more quiet and efficient.
The imager comes with a Windows® computer optimized to run the OMIX HD Imager.
